College History  
 

Brahmanand College, Kanpur was established in the year 1961 by Kanyakubja Education Trust. Initially, it was known as 'Kanyakubja College' which was later renamed as Brahmanad College in the memory of its founder Pt. Brahmanand Mishra in the year 1968.

 
     
 
The College was fortunate enough to avail the services of Pt. Kirishna Kumar Shukla who served the College as the founder principal. The College made tremendous progress under the dynamic leadership of the former principal Dr. Narendra Dwivedi.
 
     
 
Presently, the college consists the faculties of Science, Law & Commerce. Starting with just 49 Students, today the college is providing education to more than 4000 students.
 
     
 
The College is well known for its long tradation of teaching, academic standing and leadership building.
