Department of Zoology is an approved center for research by CSJM University, Kanpur. So far 05 students have been awarded Ph.D. degree and 02 are pursuing their Ph.D. course. Areas of research interest are following
Enrolment to Ph.D. course is through entrance examination conducted by the university followed by mandatory course work of 6 months. Faculty members are well trained in their respective research fields.
So far various faculty members have produced over 2 dozen research papers in both national and international peer reviewed journals. One of the present faculty members is also in the editorial board of Biochem. and Cell. Archives journal. Besides this, faculty members are also reviewers of projects submitted to funding agency DST, New Delhi.
