All faculty members are actively engaged in research in various fields. Seven Teachers are approved supervisors of CSJM University. Major thrust areas in which research activities are pursued in the department are

• Nuclear Physics
• High Energy Physics
• Solar Energy, Environmental Physics
• Spectroscopy
• MD simulations, ab-initio and DFT calculations

Eleven research scholars have completed their Ph.D. and two are pursuing their research work for Ph.D. degree. Some of our faculty members have completed their projects sanctioned by UGC, New Delhi. More than 70 research papers have been published by faculty members in reputed referred journals.
