The department of Biochemistry was established in 2001. The department runs two year M.Sc. (Semester) programme with intake of 20 students. Department has well equipped laboratory and is connected with internet and intercom facility. It offers a highly conducive academic environment for teaching and learning activities. We encourage innovation and interdisciplinary activities with collaboration from other departments /Institutes on personal levels. We encourage our students and faculty to attend meetings/seminars/conferences and other academic activities. Department monitors overall performance of students through regular assessment and conducts test/seminars/quizzes. Teachers update themselves for discharging their responsibilities by attending seminars/conferences/workshops etc and by consulting library books, journals and regular study through use of internet.
